Check me out. I found a golden ticket in the Foodspotting iPhone app the other day! I did not try to redeem it though seeing I am an employee of the company and trying to cheat us out of a prize would make me a jerk.
Have you found a golden ticket yet?

… how bout now?
whee! Foodspotting funding and Alexis’ pretty post just made my day. She’s talking about me! I’m the internet. I win!
I won an amazing giveaway a few weeks ago courtesy of Amy. Here’s a breakdown of what may possible be the best little package ever, courtesy of Real Simple:
From top-to-bottom:
- Essie nail polish
- Little Brown Pen mini Paris calendar
- Little Brown Pen gift card
- Treats from Liddabit Sweets
- A purse hook, because god knows what’s on the floor on that bar
- A box of sugar candies
- Adorable note cards and envelopes
- A notebook
- A Pottery Barn picture frame
- Mouse-pad notes (write on the notepad that doubles as a mousepad)
- Real Simple’s 869 New Uses for Old Things
- A Real Simple cookbook (which seriously looks amazing)
Bottom line: the internet wins.
And if you aren’t following Amy’s blog, Amy Blogs Chow, you totally should be, She makes the best snacks… like reverse s’mores.
And The Winners Are…
Today is the day! Last Friday, I shared my Stupidly Simple Gift Guide and hosted my first holiday gift bag giveawaycompliments of Real Simple magazine. The rules were as follows: You had to live in the States and had to name your favorite Stupidly Simple Snacks video. It wasn’t a competition, but it was fun to see which videos were most popular. It was a close race between Sweet Potato Fries and Wine Cocktails with Joe Campanale. Ten winners were selected with the help of random.org. Without further ado…
1 Connie, 4 Alexis, 9 Hali, 11 Nicole, 15 Kenny C, 18 Kevin, 21 Renn, 28 Brian Lew, 33 Sonia, 34 Emily
I will be contacting the winners this morning. Thanks to everyone who entered and happy Friday, guys!
Geometry of Pasta Cookbook Giveaway
Hey everyone, it’s been one of those weeks! Terrific, but hectic. So, to cheer myself up, I’m hosting a beautiful cookbook giveaway on my Facebook page because I think the best way to make yourself feel better is to do something fun for someone else. I’m selfish that way. Sending you warm hugs on this cold New York day. - amy
