Just bought the Camera+ app for my cousin Lily who got her first iPhone over the weekend after many years of swearing by BlackBerry. I love the idea of gifting an app, especially Camera+. Few things in this world cost only a dollar and promote joy and the taking of better photographs all at the same time.

Veggie Samurai entered my life yesterday. It’s an iPhone game in which you use your lethal slicing skills to sever lettuce, peppers, corn, eggplant, and onions while trying to avoid breaking bottles of poison. Who knew it’d be so gratifying to karate chop vegetables? (Watch demo here.)
This just in… Jason says Veggie Samurai ripped off Fruit Ninja. Might have to buy that one now too.
