FiftyThree the team behind Paper app for iPad released a beautiful new update and launched Paper Stacks, a custom theme for Tumblr, today.

Before I go on, let’s backtrack a bit. I haven’t had the time or headspace to update this site as frequently as I would like and I am sorry for this. To myself, mostly, but it had to be said…

While offline, I have been spending my days building my new freelance life. I love working. Or, at least, I enjoy it immensely even when it kicks me in the ass. Work doesn’t feel like “work,” which leads me to reflect, on many occasions, how lucky I am to collaborate with smart people and companies that keep me on my toes and inspire me.

One of these companies is FiftyThree. To say each member of the team excels at what he does is an understatement. I love working because I love being part of this team, comprised of individuals who are earnest in their collective effort to deliver what I can only describe as fulfillment. Try the new theme on your Tumblr this weekend. There are two versions: Basic is free and Pro costs $19 but is fully customizable. Let me know what you think. Other than that, I recommend getting offline, going for a bike ride, hugging a friend, visiting your mom, and keeping an eye out for Time and Headspace.
